Brake rollers can be used with load conveying rollers of any diameter and must overhang by about 2 mm on the conveyor roller bed. The overall dimensions of the braking rollers determines the minimum pitch of the adjacent load rollers.

Indirect action is the best solution because it allows package contact through two conveyor rollers. To improve friction between braking wheel, conveyor roller and package, lining the first of the two rollers in contact with the roller is recommended. The two wheels are positioned 2 mm above the conveyor rollers.
